Marissa’s Bunny
Marissa’s Bunny
The Wife and I were discussing this whole “adulthood” thing, and were remembering simpler times- times where we had less responsibility. Waxing poetical about days past, the conversation evolved and we realized it wasn’t so much the incredible lightness of being that we remember- we were just considering and reflecting on a time where the pressure of life and the future didn’t weigh so heavily as it does now. It’s all very exhausting in many ways.
How’s the saying go? You can never go home again? Simpler times weren’t all that long ago. The Wife reminded me as I was complaining that I had nothing to say today that I’ve never shared Marissa’s portraits with you- these were taken two days before her first seizure. These pics were taken the day after the one in the baby carrier with the tongue from the other day.

Yup- the hair was standard equipment- she came into the world with a full head of it.

“Fairfax got to hang with me at work for a little while. I hope to add more once the upcoming shuttle mission ends so I can get into more areas without messing with mission support or crew training.”

No flight training for Fairfax today- the STS-127 crew was busy in them.
